Default email link in document to email the document

I have a word document that is a form. Within the document I have an email address listed for the form to be sent to. I want the form to attach to an email, going to the email address listed, by clicking on the email address in the form. is this possible and how?

Default Email address in Word Form

I want to make sure I understand correctly. You are trying to put an email address in a word document. Then after someone clicks on that email address it makes that same document an attachment to that email?

That is correct. It would also populate the to line with the email address that was clicked on

Default Email address in Word Form

I do not think this is going to work. The only way I see this working is if you include the email address in the document at the top or bottom that says something like

Please mail form back to "Email address here"

Then the user could click on the Mail Icon with the paper click to email the document and paste or enter the email address in the email field.

Does this make sense?

That makes sense. That is how I have been able to make it work now. I was just hoping there was another way with one click. Thanks for the help
