I am editing some documents, and the problem is as follows:
There is a paragraph break at the end of one line. That line is all italicized text. The next line is regular text. When i delete the paragraph break (hitting backspace or delete), then the second line becomes all italicized. Then when I hit shift-enter (line break), the formatting remains italicized. Is there a way of going about this which will not automatically reformat the second line? Thank you in advance. BC |

Hi BC,
The two paragraphs are probably formatted with different paragraph Styles. A paragraph can't support two or more paragraph Styles. You could, however, join the two paragraphs via the Style-separator technique. To do this, position the insertion point in the first paragraph and press Ctrl-Alt-Enter.
