Irremovable I text

Hi all, have a small issue i hope you could help me out with.



A colleague has been creating a word document and has ended up with a seemingly irremovable bold I shaped figure. it cannot be highlighted or deleted using any regular means i or my colleagues can think of.

Have you checked that it's not been inserted in the Header or Footer sections? As this would make it impossible to select in the normal document!!

If that's not it, then maybe you could upload a copy of the file (removing ALL personal data first!)?!
