Hello,
One possibility is that you have a footer which appears blank but in fact contains several Carriage Returns. You can check this by opening your document and selecting View > Headers and Footers. If you then select the Show / Hide all button, you shall be able to check if this is the situation. If so, then it is simply a matter of deleting unwanted CRs. Please see attached example. Another possibility is to check the page layout. Select View Header / Footer Select File > Page Setup Select the Layout tab Under the Headers and Footers option look at the "From Edge:" settings. The default is 1.25 cm. If yours is different, change the settinga back to the default value. Hopefully this should solve your problem. Kind regards, Zade :-) |

To change the size of a header or footer:
Go to File Page Setup Layout Under the Headers and Footers section change the distance from the edge (top/bottom). Hope this helped. |
