Hey guys, I was working on a school project in MS Word 2007 and in the middle of me typing up graphs it crashed on me. When I try to open the document back up it gives me an error message that says,
"This Office Open XML file Lab1_Short_Form cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents. Details Unspecified error Location: Part: /word/document.xml, Line: 2, Column: 84474 Now I am tech savvy enough to have done some research and done the following steps: 1. changed the extension of the file from .docx -> .zip 2. Opened the archive and found the word/document.xml file using n++ 3. went to the indicated location of the error 4. deleted this xml command giving problems (tried to BS my way through coding and deleting things I had no clue what I was doing) 5. changed the extension of the zip-file back to .docx But then it gives me another error (same thing different location) I have provided the original Word document and the Zip file (see links below) in case anyone here is able to help me with my problem. Thank you! http://www42.zippyshare.com/v/3104279/file.html http://www42.zippyshare.com/v/40685173/file.html |
