Hi All.
So I created a Word template with a number of styles, and custom footers. In the custom footer, I inserted a logo. When I open a new document and apply the template, the custom footers appear, and the logo appears in the preview, but when I insert the custom footer, the logo is gone. I'm in the Print Layout view, and I have show image placeholders checked off in the Advanced Options, but no placeholder or image appears. Any ideas what's wrong? Any help is GREATLY appreciated! -SLK |

When you insert a footer from the gallery in Word, the current content of the footer will be deleted; this is by design.
Note that if you just want to add a page number, it will be easier to do so directly in the footer. Double-click the footer area to activate it. Place the insertion point where you want the page number, and then press Alt+Shift+P.

posibly the logo is still there in the footer but the position had changed, you need to increase the footer position from bottom and then you should be able to see you image, this normally happend when the image is a floating image.
