grayed 'choose an item' text appears in printing, how to hide?
I have a form here (word 2007) with users that need to fill in various sections. I used the CONTROLS tools. When I print, the grayed instructional text 'click' appears on the paper. Any ideas on how to show this 'click' on the screen, but hide it when printing? |

After googling for some time I came across another thread with a similar question:
http://help.lockergnome.com/office/W...ict992089.html I checked the following option: So I can only conclude that this type of text (grayed out - don't know the name) is not 'hidden text', but something else. Just to clarify the grayed out text I am referring to is the text left in place after I place a drop down list/text box/date picker etc. Thanks |

ok, to further explain my situation....
the following 3 columns are choices for the user to make, they would only choose (tick) ONE of the boxes, the other two should be left blank when printing (with the 'click here to' not to be seen on the printed paper) |
