userman userman is offline cannot delete these lines! Windows XP cannot delete these lines! Office 2003

Default cannot delete these lines!

hello!

there are two lines that I cannot delete! I do not know how they where created at all!

any hint?

Ctrl-A, Delete will delete them. Or you could select the affected range and choose 'No Border' from the borders tool.

See Weird Lines and Borders orThere is a line in my document that I can't delete because I can't select it. How did it get there, and what can I do about it?

thanks, but CTRL-A, DEL, will not always be a solultion, because these lines exist in a multipage document

however I will try the second solution

I didn't really think you'd want that one - it just shows how inadequate problem definition can lead to unusable solutions. Hint: you need to be more specific.
