Hi, folks. I looked through the forum before posting but didn't see my issue - SO -
I have recently been unable to COPY anything from webpages into Microsoft Office Word 2007. What I need to do regularly (and have been able to do previously) was highlight text on a webpage in IE9 (or Firefox, whatever), right click to COPY, then rick-click in Word to PASTE. Now I cannot COPY anything anywhere but in Word and have it then PASTE back into Word - that is, if I try copying from ANY other program, I cannot PASTE anything into Word. IF, however, I COPY something from any Word document, I can PASTE that into another Word doc. It's like Word only recognizes itself as a valid TEXT document. If I COPY something in Word (say, the term "faulty") I can paste "faulty" into any other Word document. If I then go into IE to a webpage, highlight, and COPY something there, when I go to PASTE back into Word, I get "faulty" again. Anyone have any suggestions? I've checked TOOLS -> Internet Options -> and Custom Levels of the Security Zone with no change. I've deleted the HKEY-Users-Software-Microsoft-Office 12-Data lines with no change. Thanks for any help. Tom |
