Formating a book for print
Hello there.
I was wondering if it is ''okay'' to format a book for ''live'' print in Word? It is a simple book, standard fictional novel, no pictures or anything, just letters. Since i am from Europe, i will probably be using the A5 format. I pretty much got the whole margins etc deal, and it looks rather simple to me so i don't understand why so many people are against book formating in Word, i see they recommend InDesign and other similar programs, but since my book is very simple, i find everything i need in word. I also have another question, in the Page Setup, under Pages Multiple pages should i choose NORMAL, mirror margins or book fold? I don't understand the difference? My goal is to actually print the book in real life, i first need to fix it in A5 format, than transfer to PDF and finally print, so what of the 3 previously named options should i choose for this task? |
Gonna give it a go with a bump :)
