reference to previous style solved
This drove me crazy until I figured out how to trick Word info referencing the previous style heading and not the heading on the current page. I figured out that if the Style Ref field was in the body of the doc, it would look backwards and ref the previous style as I wanted, but then it moved around as I add text before it and presents the same problem I have now. So I put the Style Ref field in a text box with absolute position .8” from the Top Margin and drew the header box so the bottom of the table in the header is below it and it looks like it’s part of the header but behaves like part of the body and does not move with text and behaves like I need.
