word using vertical lines
hello, i would like to use an vertical line that cuts through a piece of text showing text1 on the left side until it reaches the bottom of the line then it contiones writing on the right side. how is this done?
I tried drawing a vertical line and wrapping the text around it "tight" and the result is the colored in black. As you can see it cuts right trough the line going from left to right. Now i want it to look like the text colored in red. the text keeps itself on the left side until the bottom of the line is reached. when the text on the left side gets to the bottom it starts writing on the right side of the line |

If I understand yo correectly, setting 2 columns with a line between will solve your problem. Column formatting is on the Layout tab. Use the little arrow in the corner to open the dialgue box, select two columns and check the box for Line between.
