Hi apanbasu,
What you can do in Word with a converted PDF depends on what the PDF contained. If the PDF's pages were just page images, rather than text, then converting the PDF to Word is still going to leave you with nothing more than page images. Some PDFs combine page images with searchable text. When you convert these PDFs to Word, you typically end up with page images overlaying the text, which you can access by deleting the images. So, without seeing the PDF, it's difficult to say what situation applies in your case.
