Default Black dot formatting character

Hi, anyone know what this formatting character is (see screenshot) and what is its corresponding "expression" (e.g. ^w)? It's the one before the paragraph mark. I'm trying to remove all of it.

I've tried white space, normal space, but its not either.

Thanks,
Jay

If it appears in the left margin it has to do with paragraph and line spacing. I usually see it when a paragraph is formatted to keep this paragraph with the next paragraph. See Non-printing display characters explained.

The scenario presented looks to be the use of the style "list bullet" once, followed by a "space" key. Simple as that! To remove it, simply backspace from the pilcrow/paragraph symbol.
