Default Word to PDF conversion

Here is the scenario I have a Word document and I have made a text box, and within that text box, I have inserted some text and a table. And I saved the Microsoft Word document as the version 2010, well when I try to take that file I just saved, and then save it as a PDF, the text box that I made appears but the text inside the table does not in the PDF. However when I save the Word document in 97-2003 format in the PDF the text box and all text appear fine. I can bring up the options when saving it as a PDF I can check ISO 19005-1 Compliant but when I do that the PDF is locked for editing. I have removed Word and reinstalled Word; I have removed Adobe and reinstall Adobe. I have tried to install a Hotfix from Microsoft that applied to this problem but the hotfix said there was not software applicable for the hotfix. I can get the Word to PDF conversion to work fine on another system, just not this one.
