I got a document where on a certain line there is a vertical line at the left side.
It is NOT the cursor. As you can see from the attached snapshot it is an additional line. The snapshot shows the cursor AND the line. How can I get rid of the vertical line? I cannot just delete it by backspace or DELETE key Peter |

This indicates that you have tracked changes turned on and made a change in this line (perhaps only the addition of a space).
Go to the Review tab, accept the change, turn off tracked changes. |
