Hyperlink to Partial Document Name
(OOps I meant, Hyperlink to Partial Document Title) My bad
Hi all, I've got a question about hyperlinks that I could really use some help on. I'm building a folder full of documents that are labeled 10-0100 , 10-01001, 10-01002, etc... Inside of any given document there are multiple references to other documents in that folder. Each of these docs has a version number in the document title like "10-01001 v 1.3.docx" Only the most recent version is in the folder. I would like to be able to build a hyperlink based on the folder and file name, that will work regardless which version # is in the folder.. I read somewhere that the solution would be to link it to /quality/documents/manual/"10-01001"*.docx But that doesn't seem to be working. Help please Last edited by shira47; 03-22-2012 at 09:28 AM. Reason: typed the title wrong...my bad |

Hi Shira,
It's not possible to use wildcards in a hyperlink address. Hyperlinks must have a specific destination.
