Default linking word from Excel

Hi all

I have a paragragh in Word which reads

The overall satisfaction of Qu14. ‘I know what is expected of me as a volunteer’ has declined by X% from 2011.

The X is automatically calculated from Excel. I know ther is a way of linking . have tried a lyperlink but this isnt right.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hi Lorna,

Copy the source cell in Excel, switch to Word and choose Paste>Paste Special, check the 'paste link' option and choose one of the paste formats.
