I'm not sure what you mean by the "Pick Up Style tool." If you are referring to the Style drop down available in older versions of Word, you can add it to the Quick Access Toolbar. Right-click the QAT and select Customize Quick Access Toolbar. You'll find the Style option in the All Commands category. The screentip says StyleGalleryClassic.

What I am referring to is the Pick Up Style tool. I have been able to add it to my QAT in PowerPoint but unable to find it in Word. The icon looks like an empty eye-dropper and the Apply Style tools looks like an eye-dropper with a little something in it. These two tool work together, when you have text selected you can click the Pick Up Style tool and it will pick up the attributes from the text and hold them then if when you want to use them quickly you can highlight new text, click the Apply Style tool and this will drop the formatting attributes onto the highlighted text. Without needed to create a new style.
Thanks for any assistance you can give, it will greatly appreciated. Parre |

I believe you are describing the Format Painter, although I don't recognize your description of the icon(s).
In Word, the quickest way to copy formatting from the selection is by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C; you can then paste the formatting (repeatedly, if you wish) to other selections by pressing Ctrl+Shift+V.

Yes, that is what I am referring to, I was looking for the command in order to place it on my QAT I already have the Apply Style tool on my QAT. If you would like you can go under the Customize QAT and look at the Apply Style the icon is very similar the Pick Up Style icon is just empty.
Thanks again Parre |
