Unhappy How to edit text on a page without altering the rest of the other pages

Hi, this problem is really mind-numbing. I have around 100 pages of text and whenever I go and edit something, the rest of the pages get mixed up. Each one of my pages has a title and whenever I alter the text, each title goes to a different page making it messed up.

Is there a way to have each page BE its own page so whenever I alter the text, it doesn't compromise the rest of the pages?

Thanks in advance!

Word doesn't let you control the text flow like that. But what you can do is add "Page break before" formatting for all paragraphs that should start a new page. This can be done easily if you have used styles for your titles, in which case all you have to do is modify the relevant style to include "Page break before."

If you haven't used a style for each title, you may be able to search for the formatting of the style and replace with "Page break before" formatting or a manual page break.

Thanks for the reply!
I'm just going to add a page break at the end of each page.

You can do that via Find and Replace as well, if you can uniquely identify your headings, so that you can specify search criteria.

"Find what": specify the appropriate formatting (say Arial, 18 points, bold), using the Format button

"Replace with": ^m^&
