Default style organizer

I've been handed some files to tidy up, and they're littered with unused styles – let's not mention the local overrides ;-}

I seem to remember some sort of Organizer list in earlier versions that made it relatively easy to select a block of style definitions and delete them. Is there an equivalent in 2010?

Thanks in advance for saving me from the pain of deleting styles one by one!

The Organizer dialog box still exists in Word 2010. You can open it via the Macros dialog box (which you can open by pressing Alt+F8) or by clicking Import/Export in the Manage Styles dialog box.

Good thing I asked! I certainly wouldn't have thought of looking in either of those places … thanks for that quick and accurate answer.

Indeed, some options are well hidden in recent versions of Word! :-(
