Default Strange formatting - unable to remove.

Hello,

the attached file (a sample part) has some strange formatting (background)
that I can't get rid of. As you can see part of the text is OK, the other
is not. When I copy the format from the correct part to the strange
one, the "background" disapears but all the other formatting is also changed.

Could you please look at it and suggest how can I remove the grey
shadow?

Thank you,

Kris

Select the text with the shading. Then click the arrow on the border button, which is the last button of the Paragraph group on the Home tab (the screentip depends on the most recent selection in the drop down), and choose Borders and Shading. In the Borders and Shading dialog box, click the Shading tab. For "Apply to," select "Text." Select the "No color" option (even if it already appears to be selected) and then click OK.
