Viewing/Hiding Tracked changes
Hellooo!
We want to be able to hide tracked changes in a word document, send it to a client, then receive it back viewing their changes as well as our old changes. I understand you need to accept/reject changes but we want to be able to see them for future reference. Is there any way to do this? |

You can't prevent the client from seeing the tracked changes, if that's what you're asking, unless you actually accept (or reject) them. Perhaps you could save a copy of the document, prior to the client's changes, for reference?

Thats what I thought. We wanted to be able to keep the tracked changes hidden so the client couldnt see but so that we could refer back to them at a later date. I understand that you have to accept or reject the changes, you cant switch between views?

Well, you can change your preferred view, but you can't force it onto someone else.
