Half Page breaks

Hello.

Does anyone ever have an issue with random half page breaks?

Depending on the document I'm editing, when I insert a page break it it only goes half way across the screen. I hit "delete" immediately after the page break to fix this issue but then it screws up the page heading of the next page. Also, sometimes when I open a document all normal page breaks are converted to half page breaks. Anyone have any ideas on how this issue could be corrected? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What you see on the screen is just a visual aid. The page break is actually complete and should be working.

The page break marker always occurs immediately after the last character (if any) on the page in question, and is generally followed by a paragraph break character.
