Default Edit Links Command Selection

Hi All,

I have a document with external multiple links from excel spreadsheet. I wish to edit the links command in following manner:

1. First uncheck "Preserve formatting after update".

2. Then select the whole Source Files from list and update it.

3. After that, select the whole Source Files from list and check "Preserve formatting after update".

Kindly see the attachments. Thanks in advance.

Hi nkg,

I can't see what the point is for steps 1 & 3. As for step 2, have you tried Ctrl-A, F9 in the body of the document and/or checking the 'Update automatic links at Open' option under Tools|Options|General and the 'Update links' option under Tools|Options|Print?
