Cool Type spacing and point sizes in Word

Hy there,

I'm a designer who uses InDesign and QuarkXPress, so I'm used to controll every aspect of typeface usage.
But now I must make a standard layout (call it a template) in Word for several people. These people have no experience with the layout packages.

I realise Word is a text processer pur sang.

I have the following questions:
Is it possible to alter the spacing (in points) between the individual sentences? I know there is a coarse way to change the spacing, but I want smaller steps.
Normally in Word you can set a typeface in whole point sizes. Is it possible to give a typeface for example a size of 10.5 points?

I'm using Word from Office 2003.

Greetz,
Funky
