Default Accidently hit some kind of key command

hi there,

I accidently hit some kind of key command combination, and now all my paragraphs, lines and what not, end with little "node"-like symbols.. and there's little dots inbetween every word.. how do I reset/remove these?

I've uploaded a picture of what I'm talking about (hope it helps in identifying the issue)
and THANKS for any help

You have nonprinting marks displayed. Pressing the button on the Home tab should turn it off. If it doesn't work, click File tab | Options; in the Display category, clear all options in the "Always show these formatting marks on the screen" section, and then click OK.
