Default Accidently hit some kind of key command

hi there,

I accidently hit some kind of key command combination, and now all my paragraphs, lines and what not, end with little "node"-like symbols.. and there's little dots inbetween every word.. how do I reset/remove these?

I've uploaded a picture of what I'm talking about (hope it helps in identifying the issue)
and THANKS for any help

You have nonprinting marks displayed. Pressing the ¶ button on the Home tab should turn it off. If it doesn't work, click File tab | Options; in the Display category, clear all options in the "Always show these formatting marks on the screen" section, and then click OK.
