Exclamation dyingforhelp

Hi,

I'm having a mega word issue. Every time that I go to save or print a document it "freezes." The catch is that every time it "freezes" it does like a half freeze; I can still modify the page I want to save or print, but it's like there's a glitch in the system and it keeps looping over the glitch while trying to process the given command. I am in desperate need of help asap. At this point my life seriously depends on my computer (student teaching) and I'm on a "lucky if I get a bowl of rice a day" diet. Please help.

Hi heimry191,

Try repairing Word (Help|Detect & Repair).

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately I do not have that option under Help in word. Is there another way to get there? I've gone through all of the options in word help. I did run disk utility repair and it fixed the printing problem, but not the saving. Which ok, I can work with that, pain in the arse but doable.

Thank you,
heimry191

Hi heimry191,

Your user profile says you're using Office 2003. If that is so, the advice I gave is correct. If you're not using Office 2003 (and/or Moc OS X), please correct your user profile and post back - it's hard to give the correct advice if the profile is wrong.
