I don't have the Acrobat ribbon, but I'd be willing to try it. Do you know how to get it? One thing I can add is that I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, and I have tried creating PDFs from my Word files with that. The problem I find is that the links that work in my Word file break in my Adobe-created PDF. The Acrobat Word-to-PDF transformation turns the dashes in the link paths into something smaller--maybe hyphens? I haven't checked the ASCII code. In any case, because Acrobat makes the dashes smaller in the link paths, they break in the PDFs created by Acrobat. If the Acrobat ribbon is a way to make PDFs from Word files using Acrobat, I think I'll have the same broken link problem.
