Aggregate Data from Microsoft Word Survey
I currently have about 70 surveys with about 170 questions per survey created in Microsoft Word, each survey has identical questions. Most of the questions have 2-5 option/radio buttons as the possible answers. However, others have ActiveX textboxes. I need to find a way to aggregate the data from the surveys.
If the data were in excel, I would have no problem aggregating the data. However, I don't know how to get the data from Word to Excel, if that is even possible without manually typing it. A friend of mine says that a macro might be able to help, but I do not even know where to start. I have only ever created basic macros by first recording the macros and then manipulating the VBA. Any ideas? I'm going to have another 70 or so surveys every week for the next five weeks (slightly different each week). |
