Enhancement to the “Microsoft Forum”!

I’m not sure if this is the right place to comment on the “Microsoft Forum”:

1. Why there is no feature by which we can say “Kudos” like what we have in the "AutoCAD" forum or like what is found the forum of the "ArcGIS"? it like "LIKE" in the facebook!

2. Why we can’t insert the screenshot in the text directly from the hard disk drive? Do we need to upload the image first to some web site in order to insert it in the post with the text?

Is this practical?

For instance, in the Forum of ArcGIS, we can insert any image from the hard disk drive instead of inserting them EXCLUSIVELY from a web site! (this is much easier that attaching them as we insert them in the right position in the text)

3. I think that the combinations of the features existing in many forums is the best way to produce the best forum that includes all the features that can be friendly manipulated.

1. I want to appreciate the answers I receive from the participants like what we have in the AutoCAD Forum (screenshot 1) but not rating the thread itself. It's like the "Like" in the Facebook!

2. I want to insert the image within the text like what we have in the ArcGIS Forum (screenshot 2) but not attaching them.

By the way Paul, I'm still struggling with the issue of Updating the fields automatically when save, save as, print or open. i couldn't use the code that you have supplied. do have it embedded in a particular Word document. this feature is quite simple in the AutoCAD (screenshot 3).

As I'm a heavy user for the ArcGIS, AutoCAD and Office software and their fora, then i could compare the performance of similar features in these software and fora. just i try to understand why these features are nit developed to be more friendly to the users.

You'll need to take those suggestions up with 'Matrix', who runs the forum, via Forum Support (https://www.msofficeforums.com/forum-support/). However, like everything IT, we're limited by the available software's capabilities.
