Hello!
First post here! So, hello to everyone in the forum! I had a question about the Table of Contents feature in Word 2010. I'm making an eBook and what I want to do is have one single table of contents that navigates the whole book. The problem I'm having is that I don't know how to have items in the table of contents that link to images when I click on them. For example: I have an inside cover image. I want to have a link in the table of contents that links to this image, but if I click on the image and hit the 'Add Text' button in the Table of Contents box, it makes an entry on the left panel, but it has no text, and I can't see it in my table. So, how do I make one table that links to text at some points (say, the Dedication Page that is just one line of text), and images at other points (say, the inside cover image, or a picture at the beginning of the chapter). Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing it? Thanks! Bowserstein |

I haven't used the default image/caption approach, which might be the "correct" answer to your question … but pending a better answer, I'd deal with your requirement like this:
