Hi Kristian,
I hope I'm not misunderstanding your question, but I think this is real easy. When you go to save your document, do a "Save As" and in the "Save As Type" box click the drop down menu and scroll down to the very end the 2nd to last option on my copy of Word 2003 is Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95. I think this should work fine. Let me know if I misunderstood your question. |

well it's not so simple...
I would like to save in word 95 format, not (RTF).doc I had that option in office 2002 "Word 95 & 6.0 (.doc)" but I haven't in OFFICE 2003. Do I need a service pack? |

Sorry, I'm not aware of anything that lets you save from 2003 to the native 6.0/7.0 .doc format. I do use the RTF semi-regularly to go between Word 6.0 and Word 2003. It isn't perfect, but it does get the job done.
What is your reason for wanting to save in the older format if you don't mind me asking? |
