have a table in one page

I'm writing my PhD thesis, and I have a table smaller than a page. Is it possible to keep it on a page without splitting it two pages? I wouldn't prefer to type empty lines for fixing it.

"Keep with next" applied to whole table rows, except for the final row of the table, should do the trick, yes.

It doesn't work, but it works with paragraph settings . Anyway thanks to you, I got it!

The 'keep with next' setting always works at the paragraph level. What you're doing when you apply it to a table is to keep the paragraphs in the table together, even though they may be in separate rows.

Indeed. It is even a requirement that you apply the setting to all paragraphs of text in a row for it to work.
