Are you using table cells with a fixed row height? That could cause part of the text to disappear into the bottom of the cell if the font size is too large, which, in turn, could happen if a damaged font on the affected user's machine is being substitued.

If you want to, you could post the file (or relevant portions of it) here so we can have a look.
