Default Word 2000. Problem with Merriam-Webster Macro

I'm using Windows 7 (light version for netbook) with word 2000 and the Merium-Webster dictionary with its macro installed. (The M-W Macro button is sitting up there on the standard bar.)

My Word 2000 program and the dictionary both work fine separately, however the dictionary macro button doesn't work. I get "runtime error 70" when the MW macro button is hit, even though I've set the macro security to low.

I've reinstalled the M-W macro for word 2000 three times, but it made no difference.

(Incidentally, I've had no trouble with the M-W dictionary macro using word 2002 on my big desk computer [using full Win 7 , 64 bit])

This is not an end-of-the-world problem, but I'm a writer and I find the dictionary Macro very useful.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
