Hi,
I need to set Word default filename to start with current date. I found that editing properties of normal. dot ( summary tab) is almost satisfying me. It works for somethig static but how to set this dinamically? thanks in advance for help. |

you can do this by inserting either a DATE field or, perhaps more in line with what you'll really need, a CREATEDATE field into Word's Normal template.
The essential difference is that a DATE field will update itself whenever the document is re-opened, whilst a CREATEDATE field will retain the date the document based on the template was created or, if the file is saved via File|Save As, that save date.
