Black Chancery appostrophe
could some give me instructions for placing the appostrophe in a word when using Black Chancery?
I use it from time to time and now have drawn a blank on what key sequence to use to make it appear. thank you Larry |

Hi Larry,
Do you have the Black Chancery font installed on your system? It isn't part of Win 7 or Office 2010.

Yes I have the font installed.
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. I am using Office 2007 because I need Outlook and its not included in 2010. My wife is using Office and Student 2010 and doesn't seem to work with hers either although she had figured out I guess some keystrokes that seemed to work or had read it somewhere on the internet. The Black Chancery font's only apostrophe is hex 27 (the plain apostrophe, not a 'smart' one) according to this site:
http://www.fonts2u.com/black-chancer...&submit=Submit If Word's not displying it correctly upon input, you might find it does so if you choose 'undo' immediately after typing it (to undo Word's autocorrect). Alternatively, you could turn the Autocorrect off (probably not a good idea), or input the font via 0027 followed by Alt-x.
