Default Font/Alignment
I am trying to change the default settings for both the font/size and the alignment in Word 2010.
From the <home> tab I enlarge the font dialog box and choose the font and the point-size I which to have for all documents. After making my selections I click on <set as default> and then I choose <all documents based on the normal template?>. Then I do this for the alignment setting by enlarging the paragraph dialog box. When I open a new document I notice that the font is correct. But, the point size is smaller than the one I chose (10 pt v 12 pt) and the alignment is incorrect (left v. justified). Any tips/advice? Thanks, Frank |

Dear Frank
The correct solution is modify Style.
PS: If you would like to set all changes to the template, you should choose New documents on this template. |
