And the list number is separated running. for example Subdocument A Paragraph 1Subdocument B Paragraph 1When I combine those subdocuments using Master document. I've found that the number was running continuously. Like this. Paragraph 1 of Subdocument ABut my requirement is not continuously. Like this1. subparagraph 1Paragraph 2 of Subdocument A Paragraph 1 of Subdocument AI've to restart number manually in master document . Then save file and close it.1. subparagraph 1Paragraph 2 of Subdocument A When I reopen the master document , found that the list number still continuous from the previous. This problem was come to my head that why the list number is still continous? Please explain that how can I disable the continuous number in master document or solve my problem that match my requirement like the blued-paragraph? Thanks for your help. |

Hi nattasiray,
You can achieve the desired result by using the next level for the list numbering, set to re-start after a paragraph at the previous list level, and have that previous list level un-numbered. Then, whenever you want the numbering to re-start, simply insert a paragraph at the previous level.
