Default default font for date and time insert

Hello Word World!

I have my general default font set to Ariel but when I insert date and time it keeps reverting back to Times New Roman. I noticed when I set the default to Ariel in the format dialog it indicated that this would apply to the Normal template, is this why it's not working in web layout view?

And more importantly: how can I make date and time default to Ariel in web layout view?

Muchos Gracias for any help!
Kenny

Hi Kenny,

I am unable to replicate that behaviour with either Word 2003 or Word 2010. Can you post a copy of the offending document?

sorry for the slow reply, I haven't had much internet access... in any case I seem to have resolved this myself. I'll be back if the problem returns!
Thanks...
