Number of lines change when we open word doc in another PC ?
Hi all,
I have a word document which contains unicode text. I have created that doc using word 2007 in my laptop. After typing 4 pages, i have saved it in DropBox and shut down my laptop. Then a few minutes later i have opened the same document in word 2007 in my PC. Then it seems that the lines are changed. The document i have created in my laptop contains 29 lines of text in page one. But the same document has 26 lines of text in page one in my PC. Three lines were jumped to next page. I have cross checked the options in word in both laptop and PC. All are same. Why this is happening ? How to fix this problem ?. Check the setting for "automatically update styles from template". This is on the Document Template dialog found on the Developer Tab.
Printer drivers have a lot to do with page layout. Changing the driver (even if for the same printer) can change your layout. What happens when I send my document to someone else? Will Word mess up my formatting? |
