Default Macros in 2007

I used to be able to record a series of actions as a macro, assign a keyboard shortcut, and repeatedly execute the macro on a selection by using the shortcut.

No more.

Is that the case? Or is it deviously hidden somewhere in the inner bowels of Word Options?

Also lost seems the ability to iconify a mactro and put it on the menu.
