Word has features that Excel doesn’t.
Unlike Excel workbooks Word documents remain attached to the template they were created from.
A Word template can store Building Blocks containing blocks of content. These can be made available without using any VBA simply by adding a custom ribbon tab to the template with controls for the building block galleries. My preference is to use the Custom galleries to keep the standard options separate.
