I need help creating a process where I can either input new quote/invoice word doc data into an excel spreadsheet, or visa versa. Additionally, I’d need to ensure the quote/invoice numbers are automatically generated and tracked without duplication. Does anyone out there offer this type of service for hire?

Given that an invoice might list multiple items, it's not as simple as automatically assigning a new number for each item. For one possible approach, see:

I'm only looking for a unique quote/invoice number everytime I generate a new one. I don't need unique number for each item in the quote/invoice.
