Default search a list of words in a Word doc

Hi,

I have a document that has been translated by DeepL. I would like to search the document using a list of words that are in an excel file. I have found a couple of links online, but am wondering if anyone has a good tool for this. If there is something that is readymade that I can apply easily, that would be great, to save my time !

I have used excel macros, but never Word macros. Here is what I have found so far:

https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...-list-1-a.html

MS Answers - How can search for a list of words in a microsoft word document within a single search?

How to use VBA to search for a list of words and phrases in a Word document and highlight them? - Stack Overflow

cheers !

The code I posted in https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...-list-1-a.html has all you need to make text existing text bold, using a list in Excel to hold the text strings.
To highlight them instead, see: https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...ord-based.html.
If you want to replace the text, see: https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...d-replace.html.

For PC macro installation & usage instructions, see: Installing Macros
