Hi everyone,
I have encountered an issue with the Microsoft Word Normal.dotm. Recently, I have been testing a lengthy Word macro. I noticed that my Normal.dotm is behaving strangely. Usually, I edit the VBA code in Microsoft Visual Basic Editor and then press the save button to store my changes. However, when I press the save button now, Normal.dotm saves as Normal (~WRL1632). Here's the printscreen: Normal.dotm_issue.jpg If I press the save button repeatedly, the numbers after "WRL" increase. When I close the Word application and reopen it to check if my settings have been saved, I find that they haven't. I have tried reinstalling Microsoft Office twice, but to no avail. Would anyone be kind enough to guide me on how to reset the Microsoft Word Application to address the issue mentioned above? (I have tried to remove the normal.dotm in appdata many times (more than ten times) but in vain). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm encountering difficulty using the Word macros as it's unable to save, despite my efforts of ticking additional reference libraries. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. |
