Recover my macro from previous Normal.dot?
I suspect that it is gone forever, but I thought I'd ask anyway...
Scenario: Win 10 with a SSD drive. It was acting buggy, so I installed Windows from a recover (thumb) drive that I made when I got the laptop. Then I reinstalled MS Office 365 (and a bunch of other stuff). Only then, did I remember the homemade tool I made with VBA. I'm 99% sure it was in my old Normal.dot file. I tried a deep scan with Recuva, but no luck. I also tried looking in some of my .docx files that I had used the tool in, but it is not there either. Any other ideas to try? |

Thanks for the info Charles. Still no luck, but that's okay. I'm just remaking the tool (which was fairly small anyway).
