Default Navigating to the end of a certain section

Hi friends!

With some help, I was able to VBA a navigate of the insertion position to the end of a section.

But this is done by referring to the section number. If I add in the future more breaks this will not work. Apparently, you cannot assign a name or other unique ID to a section. So what I have seen is either to bookmark the entire section or give the desired section a certain header and navigate to that.

But now I am getting a little lost. I want to set the insertion point to the end of the desired section, so how would I go ahead and get the section number based on the previous workarounds and then go to the end of that section? (MSoft could have solved many problems by allowing to assignment of specific identifiers to sections

Thank you and have a good day!

Susan Flamingo

Thank you for your attention!

I decided simply to insert a bookmark at the end of the section I want to navigate to that BM.

Who was the wise who said: Software is about finding workarounds to things M$oft did not include?

Thank you and have a good day!

Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToSection, Which:=wdGoToNext

or

Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToSection, Which:=wdGoToPrevious

To navigate to the insertion point at the end of the section before the target, output one or two left arrow key presses:

Selection.MoveLeft Count:=1, Unit:=wdCharacter
